There are so many different tools included with even the free version of TubeBuddy, and if you’re just starting out on YouTube, I would recommend just sticking with the free version; install that, and you’ll instantly be able to start taking advantage of the incredibly powerful search term results that help you better fill out all of the important information that helps your videos get ranked higher in YouTube.
If you didn’t know, the trick to success on YouTube is getting your videos ranked. If your videos are showing up near the top when someone searches for a certain keyword, you’re drastically increasing the chances of someone clicking and watching your video because they can, of course, see your video! If it’s not ranked high, they simply cannot see or find your video.
TubeBuddy provides keyword tag suggestions for your video, it helps you pick the best title for your video, it helps you research video title ideas so that you can create videos specifically for giving you the best chance at picking a winning video/idea/title, and so much more.
My favorite feature besides the keyword tag suggestions that Tubebuddy offers it their ‘Bulk Edit’ feature. This feature allows you to very quickly search for certain words or sentences in your descriptions and bulk edit all of your videos at once, or certain videos you choose. You can easily make changes to hundreds of videos in just a few clicks. This is super easy if for example you update your website, and have spent years making YouTube videos; if you need to update your website link in all of your videos, it would take forever to do it manually, one video at a time. (I’ve done it before, trust me, it’s something I will never do again.) However, with TubeBuddy’s 'Bulk Edit’ feature, your website URL can be updated in every video description within literally a minute. It’s incredible. That feature isn’t available in the free version, but honestly, that’s the reason we started off with the paid version; we didn’t want to update 125 video descriptions again! haha
TubeBuddy has Advanced keyword search options, which can help you find high-performing, searchable video topics to make the best titles and include the best tags for your videos on YouTube.
Beyond that, TubeBuddy has time-saving templates and tools which will help you publish your videos much faster! (Far less manual work is required when leveraging TubeBuddy’s tools)
TubeBuddy is designed to help you rank your YouTube videos higher and get more views for new uploads, as well as give you valuable analytics and feedback on your existing videos so that you can make important decisions like changing your thumbnails to get a better click-through rate, or by changing keyword tags, or altering your YouTube video title so that it shows up higher in search results on YouTube.
