In this video i'm going to show you how quick and easy it is to export your video project and have it directly uploaded from premiere to youtube and what i show you in this video can also be applied if you want your video exported and uploaded directly to Vimeo, Twitter, Facebook and a couple more platforms on the side note which platform do you use to upload your videos to the most let me know in the comments below so i can make more tutorials dedicated to working with those specific platforms for you and we release weekly videos and in the coming weeks, we're sharing lots of Premiere Pro CC tips and cool editing techniques, so subscribe to stay in the loop.
So we're in Premiere Pro and i have this project here on my timeline let's go up to file export media which will open up the export window select publish and there are a bunch of different places we can have our video uploaded to like creative cloud, adobe stock, behance, facebook, FTP, twitter, vimeo right down at the bottom here is youtube let's check mark youtube and you'll want to sign into your youtube account which you can do here you can also use this plus button to add more channels and this remove button to remove channels you can choose a playlist if you'd like your video to be added to one you can add your video's title here the description and i find this step super important so you can change the video's privacy to private.
I recommend setting your uploads to private because it's good practice to review your video once it's uploaded onto youtube before making your video public just to triple check and make sure that everything looks good and sounds good and there are no random glitches that might have occurred during the export you can also add tags here for seo purposes for your thumbnail you can pick a frame from your source video and then use this thumbnail at time code to decide where premiere should choose that frame from and it'd be really nice if they showed you a preview of the frame you're choosing which hopefully the Premiere team will implement in future updates because right now unless you know the exact time code of the frame you want used for your thumbnail you're really just kind of guessing.
You can also use current frame or you can choose from image file which is what i tend to do it will bring up this thumbnail file option so let's choose a file open and now that thumbnail will be used you could also choose none and deal with your thumbnail later and you can choose to have your exported video file deleted after it's uploaded to youtube personally i like to save all of my exported videos because i just like to have a copy but if you're tight on space having your exported video deleted might be something you're into and once your video is exported i'll just pop over to my youtube channel here on the content page and it's automatically being uploaded privately to youtube and there you go that's how easy it is to automatically export your video and have it uploaded directly to youtube if you want to learn more premiere tips and tricks check out our premiere playlist that's a lot of peas subscribe for the latest from us and we will see you in another video.
