Maybe you're clumsy like me and you regularly walk into expensive stuff or maybe you have a kid that thinks it's fun to rearrange stands that have very pricey gear on top of them or maybe you just like to optimize your space and give yourself more free room on the floor if you do youtube or videos or photography stuff then this wall mount boom arm is something that you're probably going to want to hear more about. We loved it so much that we ended up buying a second one for our studio and i think every creative person that works with gear could benefit from it.
Now i'm going to tell you why i think this boom arm so awesome and share with you something we found out that we're kind of not sure we love so let's hop right into this review [Music] if you're new here i'm allie and will and i release weekly ish content for video creators in the upcoming weeks we'll be sharing videos about how we prep for big video production shoots we'll also be sharing some tutorials for creative editing tips in premiere pro if that's something you're into subscribe to our channel to stay in the loop so the reasons i love this boom arm are you can rotate it 180 degrees and you can also adjust its angle and height which is perfect for setting up a light or mic it will make your workspace feel tidier and more organized in my office i have a microphone on my boom arm and i also have another arm that holds a light but of course use your own discretion with how much weight you're gonna add to it we have one boom arm mounted on my wall and we have another one mounted in the ceiling of our studio.
This is my only real issue with the boomer the one that's mounted in our ceiling no matter how tight i made the main hinge near the base it wasn't enough to keep our light extended to the far right or the far left so we had to set it up in a position that was mostly hanging down instead it still worked out okay for us but it is something to be aware of another awesome thing about it is it has an adjustable length that can extend to a max length of 49.2 inches or around four feet which is pretty freaking long it's lightweight and it's made of aluminum alloy the triangle structure also adds stability to the boomar and you can move it side to side or if you want it out of the way you can push it straight up against the wall it also has a quarter inch and a 3 8 inch thread four attachments it's super easy to put together and install as well it comes with four pieces and some expansion screws to help mount the boom arm to the wall securely which is nice.
It frees up floor space which is the main reason i got it and one of the best things about this boom arm is the price at the time of making this video it's only around 80 canadian so for something that works really really well is reliable sturdy and looks good that to me is a pretty great price i'll leave a link in the description below if you want to order one for yourself.
