How To Fold A Large Reflector Or Pop Out Foldable Soft Diffuser FAST: In this quick video, Will shows you how fold back up a pop out foldable soft diffuser with a simple technique. These pop out reflectors or diffusers can be tricky to fold back up!!

Will: “Hey Alli, i know you've worked with these before, but smaller versions, think you can close it?”
Alli: “This is a pretty large, one once you open that one up yeah it's like seven feet long, i'm five five oh my god.”
Will: I thought i'd do a quick tutorial on how to fold up this pop-out foldable uh reflector or typically the reflectors this one's actually a soft diffuser this one's seven feet long and as you can see it's pretty big there's a few different ways to fold it up you can use your foot in the middle and bend it to fold it up i don't like that that way of doing it i prefer to use the middle of the stomach and then fold it in but either way uses the same technique which is you want either end to come up at the same time and then as they come up they go in on themselves and then that allows it to turn out to be sort of like i guess like a taco it gets folded in on itself and then the top and bottom sort of compress into the final smaller circle that we started with at the beginning of the video.
Place the front on the ground push this into my stomach grab kind of a far reach on it and then i tilt it up so it works kind of like this so both sides at the same time and i kind of grab a little further as i do this and then as i'm doing this you sort of bring it into each other now the trick here for me that i find especially if you're starting out sort of grab it with one hand and this allows you to take the bottom part sort of push it in on each other and if you do it it goes together like that.
The trick is push it into your stomach that allows that part to be firm grab each side lift it up in on itself and then use one of your hands to hold the the pieces together that you just brought together and then grab the bottom part and compress it together hope that helps it makes it a lot easier than trying to figure it out yourself without any pointers and yeah that's how you put together a pop-out foldable reflector or soft diffuser ah i don't want to break it i feel like i know but i clearly don't know because how am i supposed to handle this i'm i feel like you have to be seven feet tall and do this am i close am i like at all kind of do you know how to do it.
