It's the holiday season and that means that you probably have some gifts to buy for some friends family loved ones and maybe even yourself in this video i'm gonna share my top gift ideas for content creators and since these are gifts i'm gonna try and keep the budget from around 20 dollars to below 500. So let's hop into the video.
Believe it or not i've practiced that like 10 times and none of the 10 times did it work the way i wanted it to before i get to this backpack and why i love it.
I actually didn't even add to my list, these rollerblade wheels like wait is it technically called inline skating? We saw Becky and Chris's video where they replaced all their office chair wheels with rollerblade inline skate wheels and Will was all into it, I was like I don't care, my office chair wheels are fine, and i was way wrong because once you get them you're like moving around to do little things it makes it actually kind of fun: https://amzn.to/3otIoPq
Yeah if you're an editor or someone that has to sit in front of their computer for a long time highly recommend that you replace your office chair wheels with these rollerblade wheels.
Now let's get to the awesome gift idea that i was actually gonna recommend which is this backpack this is one of those things i thought i might use it here and there and i use this constantly i take it on professional shoots with me i also take it when i'm doing vlogging and youtube videos and stuff like that it's a great size it's convenient and it's an amazon basics backpack too that was part of the reason why i was like i don't know if i'm gonna use that much and i was wrong they did a great job for something more heavy duty this lower pro backpack has been great it's got a stiffer build which is nice when you have gear you want to protect like lenses camera bodies hard drives i love the bottom side pocket that allows you to easily access your camera body it undoes from the back they really thought this out well when they designed it.
This strap allows your hips to sort of take some of the weight which i really like it's a little more expensive than some of the other recommendations i have for you it's around two to three hundred dollars but a lot of good camera bags are at least that price we definitely think this camera bag has done a great job and is worth the money my next gift recommendation is an on-board camera microphone over the years will and i have tried out several and we keep coming back to Rodes video mic pro plus it records good clean audio for vlogging and situations where you're about an arm's length or so from your camera and the mic on top of it a feature i absolutely love is that it can record a safety backup audio track if your audio ever clips because all of a sudden you or the person on camera gets really loud.
This definitely comes in handy i did a bunch of audio tests with this mic in my in-depth review so if you want to learn more you can check that out as well my next gif recommendation is around 20 to 30 dollars i own about five to six of these they're convenient and they make life way easier and that is a smart plug i have one of these plugs for one of our lighting setups here in this studio all i have to do is press a button and the lights turn on you can also pair different smart plugs so they go on at the same time you can set a schedule for them if you're looking for a stocking stuffer or a gif that's not too expensive these smart plugs you can't go wrong with.

It's got a ton of different color options and you can turn it really dim or really bright will did a review video of the pro blends and he used a couple of these lights in a cabinet to make the shots look more unique and stylized these are around 130 to 150 well worth it another gift idea that actually really pleasantly surprised well and i is the rode wireless to go lav mics we have labels on ours because after the first set we bought we ended up buying another set and yeah we label everything and especially for us coming from a background working with Sennheiser g4s, these things have really impressed us when the batteries fully charge they last up to seven hours you get two transmitters and one receiver and you can clip them right onto your shirt and the microphones right at the top of the transmitter here and the other great thing about them is the price point for the price being around two to three hundred dollar.

It's on the price you're end around 500 so this is a gift for someone you really love this thing is freaking amazing it's a 360 camera meaning it literally shoots everywhere because it has a lens on both sides of it it's super compact lightweight as you may have seen in will's recent video you can re-frame it to show any angle like that's insane it's waterproof even if you're not a content creator but you're someone who likes outdoorsy stuff or action stuff this is an amazing mind-blowing camera.
